A practical guide to strengthening your Neurofeedback skills with children and adolescents
I had been working as an art therapist for 5 years in a non-profit that offered residential services, foster care, and educational programs that served children suffering with severe emotional disturbances when the program consultant introduced me to neurofeedback. At first, I was skeptical about the approach and nervous about learning something so technology based. But soon I witnessed the impact that neurofeedback had on regulating some of the most challenging children and I was captivated. Over the last 12 years, I have dedicated my practice to integrating neurofeedback, psychotherapy, sensory modulation and expressive arts to increase positive outcomes. This course is my experience distilled, sharing techniques to help calm the impulsive, wiggly child, engage the eye rolling teen, and help cultivate life-long affect regulation.
