Ethics And Biofeedback with Angelika Sadar

Strengthen your understanding of the ethics of running a successful practice including practitioner training, patient assessment and ongoing practice development.


Having taken a biofeedback course and obtained BCIA certification is the start of professional development.  This portion  of a 3 part series on Ethics will address working within the scope of one's practice, what to do when working with presenting concerns that exceed our level of expertise and how to obtain additional training. We will explore the benefits of an evidence based practice as relates to equipment, assessment, marketing and reimbursement.

AUDIENCE
Biofeedback and neurofeedback practitioners and licensed health care providers interested in learning about biofeedback practice ethics

COURSE OBJECTIVES
1.Explain how certification in biofeedback and/or neurofeedback can add to the prestige of a provider's credentials
2. Describe 2 ethical responses a provider can engage in when faced with a presenting concern that the provider has not previously treated
3. Describe how to develop goals relevant to a client's presenting concerns


This program, when attended in its entirety, is available for 3 continuing education credits.

APA CEs
EEG Education & Research is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. EEG Education & Research maintains responsibiilty for this program and its content.

To qualify for continuing education credits, you are required to do the following.
1.    Watch each lecture video in its entirety.
2.    Pass the corresponding quiz for each lecture with a score of 75% correct or better.
3.    Complete the course evaluation form.
Once you satisfy these requirements, you will be emailed a link to download the CE certificate.

BCIA recertification --  APA CEs from EEG Education & Research are accepted by BCIA for recertification credits.

Refund Policy
If you purchase a webinar or course, you may receive a refund by requesting it in writing within 24 hours of purchase. The refund amount is the price you paid minus 10% to cover card processing. If you are unable to attend a live presentation and miss the 24 hour cutoff for a refund, you will be provided access to the recording.

Recordings
For live courses and mentoring sessions, the recording is usually available within a few days of the live session. It will remain accessible to participants for 30 days.
