Additional Information About Our Courses

Zoom & Meeting Links

We use Zoom for most of our webinars. You'll receive the link to join about 3 hours before the first session.

For longer courses with multiple sessions, the Zoom link may change from one session to the next. If that happens, we’ll send you the updated link by email.

If you're having trouble joining, double-check that you're using the most recent Zoom link. The latest link is always available on the course page in the My Library section. You can also check the Announcements section for any updates.

Staying Connected

To participate fully in our courses, it's important to keep your contact information up to date and continue receiving our communications. Email is our primary way of communicating with you about the courses you're a part of. Please make sure the email address you provided at checkout is accurate and that you're subscribed to receive messages from EEG Learn. This ensures you'll receive important updates, including Zoom meeting links and any schedule changes.

If you're expecting an email from us, be sure to:

  • Check the email account you used during registration.
  • Look in your spam or junk folder.

You can resubscribe here to continue receiving course communications. Please check the automated email you receive to approve our messages. If our emails are landing in your spam folder, mark them as "not spam" so future messages arrive in your inbox

If you think there might’ve been a typo in your email address at checkout, please write to us for assistance.

Course Updates & Notifications

We communicate important course updates through the Announcement section. You will typically receive an email notification when a new announcement is posted. Most updates relate to newly added materials like handouts, slides, or session recordings.

While we aim to minimize major changes to a course, occasionally adjustments are necessary. In such cases, we’ll inform participants promptly and, when appropriate, offer the option to defer enrollment or request a refund. Please keep your contact information up-to-date to ensure you receive these communications.

Session Recordings & Privacy

All live sessions are recorded and are available to review on EEG Learn within 1-2 weeks of the original session date. We’ll notify you through the Announcement section when recordings are available.

We make every effort to exclude participant audio, video, and chat from final recordings to support comfort and privacy. However, please be aware that your contributions may appear in the final session recordings if you:

  • Ask a question via chat or on mic.
  • Leave your microphone unmuted or camera on.
  • Share information with the group during the session.

If you prefer not to appear in the recording, please feel free to leave your camera and microphone off. You are also welcome to save any questions or comments for after the course, and continue the discussion in our community forum. It is a space to connect with our team, fellow participants, and many of the presenters and mentors we work with!

Please Note: While most courses allow you to watch the recordings at your own pace or catch up on missed sessions, some courses require live attendance and participation to meet completion criteria.

Continuing Education Credits

EEG Education & Research (EEGER) is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. EEG Education & Research maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Courses that do not qualify for Continuing Education credits are noted during the checkout process. If you have any questions about whether a course qualifies for CEs or the number that are available, please write to us.

Participants demonstrate their understanding of a course’s learning objective by completing graded assessments. Assessments are published alongside the course evaluation and session recordings. After completing the course and passing all assessments, a certificate of completion will be provided via email within 5 business days.

Conflict of Interest and Commercial Support

In these courses there is no conflict of interest nor commercial support for the programs. Any possible conflict of interest or other ethical ambiguity will be transparently and immediately reported as part of the promotional materials.

Accessibility and Non-Discrimination

EEG Learn is committed to accessibility and non-discrimination. Understanding the limitations of diversity, equity, and inclusion as goals or end points, we see these as a part of our day-to-day work of learning and taking action. Please get in touch if you have thoughts or experiences to share.

Refund Policy

Refunds are available within 24 hours of making a purchase. The refund amount is the total cost minus 10% to cover card processing. Refunds are not available for on-demand content or after the 24-hour cut-off. If you miss a live session, you will be provided access to session recordings.

For DBR Trainings, the refund & defer criteria are defined below:

More than 1 month before training: A full refund is available, minus a 10% processing fee.

At least two weeks prior to training: Refunds are available with a 20% cancellation fee.

No-show or late cancellation: No refund will be issued if notice of cancellation is received within two-weeks of the first session, or if no notice is provided.

Training requirements: Participants who do not meet the prerequisites are required to notify us for a refund. Participants who do not meet the attendance criteria will be removed from the cohort and refunded according to the above timeframes.
